Karl Medina, Proud On His Role For Jose Bartolome: Guro


Karl Medina accepted the film Jose Bartolome:Guro because of the story and the message of the film that it would like to give to the audience. Jose Bartolome:Guro is an advocacy film about the importance of education. When ask about the difference of his role to others who portray teacher in a film, he said that his character is much more tougher bounded with complex situation as in the film he gave up his teaching profession in city to teach in remote areas. He would like his character to be much more grounded to ordinary people. When ask about working relationship with the director, Ronald Rafer, he said that Ronald is calm and quiet and gave him freedom on how he will going to attack his character.






Joining Karl in the film are Akihiro Blanco, Jane De Leon, Domz Palomar, Micko Laurente, Arpee Bautista, Grace Valencia and Jess Evardone.
Jose Bartolome Guro is directed by Ronald Rafer and produced by Flying High Entertainment Productions in cooperation with Greenlight Productions and Red Post Productions.


Last July 15 2017 red carpet premiere of the film was held at SM Megamall Cinema 10 attended by the cast and crew, entertainment media and special guests.

Jose Bartolome: Guro is rated G by the MTRCB and will have screenings in various school in Metro Manila.
